Middle-class, suburban Toronto upbringing. Selectively social. Some university. Loved philosophy, but not very profitable. Travelled. Got into 'New Age' stuff a bit. Always working on having a better understanding of 'what's going on,' with the eventual intent to be able to help others in ways that doctors, dentists, priests, psychiatrists, bartenders, etc., cannot.
